block of firm tofu
pressed and cut into cubes

soy sauce

mirin

Instructions
Soak skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning on the grill.
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and chopped scallions. Mix well to combine.
Thread the tofu cubes onto the skewers.
Brush
the marinade onto the tofu skewers, making sure to coat all sides.
Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Place the skewers on the grill or grill pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, brushing with additional marinade as needed.
Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve hot.
