2jalapeñosminced (deseeded for milder heat, optional)
1chipotle pepper in adobo saucefinely chopped
Juice of 1 lime
1teaspoonsalt
A generous handful fresh cilantrochopped
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, red onion, jalapeños, and chipotle pepper.
Sprinkle in the salt and pour over the lime juice.
Add the chopped cilantro and stir well until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
Let the salsa rest for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve fresh.
