Jerk Tofu Marinade
- 14 oz 400g firm tofu, pressed & sliced
- 1 tbsp jerk seasoning mild
- 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp lime juice
- Optional: ¼ tsp cayenne or Scotch bonnet pepper for extra heat
For Serving
- Lime wedges
- Fresh cilantro or parsley
- Optional: grilled pineapple or mango slices
Make the Marinade
In a bowl, mix jerk seasoning, soy sauce, olive oil, maple syrup, and lime juice.
Add optional cayenne or Scotch bonnet pepper for a fiery Caribbean kick.
Toss in the tofu and let it marinate at least 20 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).
Cook It — Rihanna Style
Grill or pan-sear tofu over medium-high heat.
Cook until charred on both sides — about 3–4 minutes each.
While cooking, turn up Rihanna’s ‘Consideration’ and let the rhythm guide your flips!
Serve with a Tropical Twist
Garnish with lime wedges and fresh herbs.
Optional: add grilled pineapple or mango slices for balance.
Serve hot — bold, rhythmic, unapologetic.
