Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, non-dairy milk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to make the batter.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure it's evenly coated, and shake off any excess batter.
  • Place the coated cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, leaving some space between them.
  • Bake the cauliflower in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the florets are crispy and golden brown. You can flip them halfway through baking for even cooking.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the vegan buffalo sauce and melted vegan butter.
  • Once the cauliflower is baked, carefully transfer the hot florets to the bowl with the buffalo sauce mixture. Gently toss the florets to coat them evenly with the sauce.
  • Return the coated cauliflower florets to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to help the sauce adhere and caramelize slightly.
  • Remove the buffalo cauliflower wings from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve the vegan buffalo cauliflower wings with celery sticks and vegan ranch or blue cheese dressing, if desired.
  • Enjoy your delicious and spicy vegan buffalo wings alternative!
