Smoothie Bowls Recipe
Ingredients
Base:
- Kale
- Almond milk
- Banana
- Avocado
- Ice
- Honey
Toppings:
- Banana
- Kiwi
- Mango
- Chia Seeds
- Drizzled agave
Instructions
- Wash and remove the tough stems from the kale leaves. Tear the leaves into smaller pieces.
- In a blender, combine a handful of kale leaves with: 1 ripe banana, 1/2 avocado (peeled and pitted), A handful of ice cubes, 1 cup of almond milk, 1-2 tbsp of honey (adjust to taste)
- Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or thickness by adding more honey or almond milk if needed.
- Once the smoothie is blended to your liking, pour it into bowls.
- For the toppings, dice: 1 banana, 1 kiwi, 1/2 mango
- Sprinkle chia seeds over the smoothie.
- Top the smoothie with the diced banana, kiwi, and mango.
- Drizzle a small amount of agave over the top for added sweetness.
- Serve the kale smoothie immediately and enjoy!
