  • Chop board
  • Saute pan
  • Blender


  • 1 pound of chard
  • 1 ½ tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice


  • Separate the ribs and leaves from the chard. Coarsely chop them.
  • Heat a little olive oil in a sauté pan. Add the chard ribs and cook with a little water until you get a tender mixture, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Then add the leaves as you go, letting them wilt before adding more, until everything is cooked. Leave to cool and keep the liquid.
  • Put in a blender with the rest of the ingredients and the cooking liquid, salt, blend until you get a smooth cream.
  • Serve with slices of bread.
